In 1997, I was lucky enough to be given a chance to design a garden for the Royal Horticultural Society's Chelsea Flower Show sponsored by Wyevale Garden Centres.
In just three weeks, a large plot on the embankment was transformed from a grassy bank to a beautifully mellow Cotswold garden, which was awarded a silvergilt medal.
